Favorite Quote?
What’s your favorite inspirational quote?
My favorite inspirational quote is, “Leap and the net will appear.” This idea and quote has pushed me to take chances and has really shaped my mindset. It taught me that you don’t always have to have a perfect plan. It is all about living life to the fullest and truly going after your dream life. It is easy to think about how things might not work out, but what if they do and it is better than you could have ever imagined? 🙂
Your Home
What do you love about your home?
My favorite part about my home is the character. I live in a small condo that has been re-done, but some of the charming details were preserved. The best part is the original exposed brick wall in my living room. It makes everything feel so cozy and ties the room together. It is also the first home that is truly mine and it is filled with my favorite things that I have collected over the years.
Best Event Ever?
What was the best event you’ve ever been to and why?
Wanderlust in Lake Tahoe, California. It is is a yoga festival with art, amazing food, design, fashion and world class fitness classes. One of my biggest passions in life is fitness and it was incredible to see yoga bring so many people together. I felt so fulfilled and inspired after leaving and I will never forget the experiences I had there!
Best Part of Gig?
What do you love most about working at B&B?
It really is hard to choose because I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to be able to do what I love! My favorite part of working at Bowery & Bash would have to be our awesome team. I have already learned so much from them and everyone truly is amazing, helpful and inspiring. I also love to be surrounded by gorgeous furniture all day of course! I am always learning new trends and getting creative. Everyday is different and I am never bored!
Dream Home?
How would you describe your dream home in detail?
One thing I know for sure is that my dream home would have an awesome kitchen. I love to cook, bake and entertain so having a big kitchen with an open concept is very important to me. I imagine having a mix of both modern and industrial touches as well as vintage pieces to fill my home. My backyard would be large with an area to entertain with plenty of room for a garden. As long as my dog, Violet, has a yard to run in, I’ll be happy! I have always dreamed of a wrap around porch, especially after living in Glen Ellyn and seeing how gorgeous the homes are. The bedrooms would have tons of light and large windows. I like to keep bedroom decor simple so that I have a serene feeling when I am relaxing. I would want guests to feel a breath of fresh air when they enter my home.
Favorite Piece?
What is your favorite Bowery & Bash Piece?
It is really tough, of course, since I have so many favorites for different reasons. We have so many gorgeous new pieces. One of my favorites is the Sage Sectional. I can’t get over how pretty the color is and think the vintage structure is beautiful.
Carrera Bar
The Carerra Bar is also amazing. It is a must have for any wedding! The marble & bleached wood can literally make any event tasteful and chic.
Austin Chesterfield
You can’t go wrong with the Austin Chesterfield Sofa. It is effortlessly timeless and so versatile. The more events this guy sees, the better it looks. Distressed leather is absolute magic.
