“Finally, an event furniture rental company who offers pieces with great style and design. This space has been void until Bowery and Bash arrived on the scene. Well done Ladies! Not only is their furniture line stylish, their customer service team is solid. They were on time and extremely helpful setting up. Pleasure to work with.”

Bowery (Small Home) & Bash (Social event).

Our sophisticated furniture has made an appearance in everything from the most exciting experiential events to extravagant corporate celebrations, film sets and luxury weddings.

We are wildly unapologetic creative types, free spirits who are all about stretching the limits of our imagination. We are dreamers and animal-lovers who care deeply about creating an environmentally friendly and socially conscious company that makes our clients giddy with excitement.

founder + creative director

Like many creative types, Katie was a quirky child with a very active imagination. She is a native of New Orleans, which explains everything you need to know about her love of gilt and graffiti, the rustic and the refined.

A life-long storyteller, Katie was an Emmy-award winning journalist for NBC News before entrepreneurship pulled her away. In 2009, she launched Revision Home, an edgy design company that used experiential events to sell updated vintage interior classics. Revision Home quickly became a go-to destination for Chicago’s interior design junkies and was named to the “Best Of” lists by Chicago magazine and CS Interiors.

Katie’s love of storytelling, design and events collided in 2014, when she opened Bowery & Bash. What began as a vintage rental company soon evolved to feature a curated collection of sophisticated event furniture.

She lives in the Chicago area with her three children and two rescue pups.
