Part-Time Event Driver & Installer — $25/hr | Flexible Scheduling | Chicago, IL

Bowery & Bash is a women-owned luxury event furniture rental company serving Chicago’s top corporate events, weddings, and brand activations. We’re looking for a reliable, physically capable Driver & Installer to pick up part-time shifts on an as-needed basis.

This role is ideal for someone who wants flexible, consistent work with good pay — no desk, no micromanaging, just show up, do great work, and get paid.

What the Job Pays

$25.00/hour

Shifts are offered on a first-come, first-served basis — the more available you are, the more you work

What You’ll Do

• Drive company box trucks (up to 26 ft.) to deliver and retrieve luxury furniture and décor
• Load, unload, and set up event spaces according to client layouts
• Lead or support small crews through installations and strikes
• Keep trucks clean, stocked, and road-ready
• Check off inventory, document any damages, and obtain client sign-off on-site
• Occasional overnight trips and longer-distance runs (Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Louisville, Orlando) — additional compensation applies

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean record
• Comfortable operating box trucks — prior experience strongly preferred
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Dependable, professional, and able to represent the company well on-site
• Open to evenings, weekends, overnights, and out-of-market travel — this is where most of the opportunity is
• No minimum hour commitment, but consistent availability = consistent shifts

How Scheduling Works

Shifts are posted in advance and offered to available team members first. The more flexible your availability — including late nights, weekends, and occasional out-of-town runs — the more opportunities you’ll have. There’s no guaranteed minimum, but reliable team members stay busy.

Out-of-market runs (Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Louisville, Orlando) are posted separately and include additional travel compensation. Overnight trips are planned with advance notice whenever possible.
